We can still taste the dust in our mouths after a cracking few days at Hillhead quarry last week. It was a blast! Seriously hot, hot, hot in every single way. With over 18,500 visitors to the quarry over the three sweltering days, we found that we were even selling machinery off the stand to meet immediate demand, as well taking orders!
It was our first time at the UK’s largest quarrying, construction and recycling exhibition. The exhibition was celebrating its 40th year so no surprise it put on quite a show. And, thankfully the weather was kind to us all too. Especially as we had an outdoor stand which meant we could feature a great selection of quality hose making equipment, as well as our new ‘off the grid’ swaging trailer workshop and a demonstration mobile van conversion.
Adrian Crawley, General Manager (to the right of the picture, looking at the camera), confirmed “It was a really busy show, with over 600 exhibitors highlighting its importance to the industries it supports. And, yes given our experience in off-the-grid swaging equipment performance our team’s advice was well received. We’ll definitely be back!”
Nick West, Managing Director (taking the picture from the hill), added. “Attending shows like Hillhead is a great way to immerse ourselves in the industries we support. We make a big difference to our customers hydraulic hose equipment performance because we take the time to understand their specific challenges. We get to know our customers and they get to know us. With over 35 years hose assembly and mobile work experience hopefully it’s clear that we’re here for customers for the long haul – from equipment provision to off-the-grid performance solutions and accredited servicing.”
If you didn’t get chance to meet the Allswage team at Hillhead 2022 we’re back at HQ and ready to answer any questions.
